What kind of service are you looking for?

I offer proofreading on hard copy, PDF and Word (using Track Changes) which is a final check of your text for grammatical correctness, errors and inconsistencies. Copyediting is a little more technical: making clear your sentences and meaning, checking layout is correct and consistent.

Proofreading

Proofreading is the final stage in editing: checking for spelling, and grammatical errors and inconsistencies. My per-hour rate is £30.00.

Copyediting

Copyediting is improving readability by amending sentence structure, word usage, formatting of text and checking the layout consistency. My per-hour rate is £36.00.

 Copywriting

I charge on a per-project basis. Depending on the complexity of text needed, a ballpark figure for a day’s copywriting will cost £200–450. My per-hour rate is £50.
